The contemporary relevance of the US Constitution.

The US Constitution was written in 1787, well over 200 years ago. Despite its age, it is clear that the Constitution has a profound impact on all of our lives today. For this assignment,  reflect carefully on the contemporary relevance of the US Constitution, both at a general and personal level. Here are the specific requirements that must be met to receive full credit (10 points): 1. Write 1 or 2 paragraphs on the general relevance of the US Constitution in contemporary America. You must refer to or cite contemporary event(s) to help illustrate your points. 2. Write 1 or 2 paragraphs on the relevance of the US Constitution to your life specifically. That is, answer the question, “How does the Constitution affect you?” 3. Identify and incorporate at least TWO outside sources (articles, videos, etc.) into your essay. REMINDER, be explicit). 4. Try to be creative, and don’t simply write the very first things that come to your mind. Show evidence of careful thought and reflection in your essays. 5. Minimum word length: 400 words • 12-point font, single-spaced.
