Question: What is the purpose of conducting a community needs assessment?

Answer: The purpose of conducting a community needs assessment is to gather information about a particular population or community’s needs, strengths, and resources. The assessment helps to identify the gaps in services and resources, which in turn can inform the development of programs, policies, and interventions aimed at improving the health and well-being of the community. It also helps to ensure that the resources allocated to the community are utilized effectively and efficiently to address the most pressing needs.
