Discussion Question: Reference the five development stages of a team (Ryan, 2008, pp. 38-40): How can understanding the 5 stages of team development help a team leader to develop an effective team? Submit your original post and respond to at least two classmates’ posts.

Your initial response should be a minimum 300 words. Be sure to post an initial, substantive response by Friday evening and respond to at least two (2) peers with substantive responses by Sunday evening.
Substantiate your initial post using APA citations and references.

Journaling allows you to reflect on your prior decisions and what influenced you to make that decision. It can bring new insights into your mindset, assumptions, biases, and overall thinking. Use the journal to explore your situation awareness, examine your experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of your thinking. All your perceptions are essential and can provide learning and insights about yourself. For all ORGL 435 LIAJ’s:

1.    Use the “What, So What, Now What” approach. Your ‘what’ should set up the situation, your ‘so what’ shows your expanded thinking, and your ‘now what’ lays out a plan to improve your critical thinking skills.

2.    Strict APA format is not required. Cite your sources only as necessary.

3.   Correct grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure are required.

4.   Posted entries should be between 200 and 300 words in length. Review the journal rubric for more specifics on how your journal will be graded.

For Week 1: Reflect on the assigned readings and other activities completed in connection with this course as they might relate to your organization, personal development as a leader, and experiences. Use the what/so what/now what format. In addition, write a few sentences outlining your expectations for this class.
